Step Into the Subtle World Within

The breath is our first teacher, our quiet guide, & our most intimate connection to life. Become a student of this wisdom. Let it transform you from the inside out.

Join me for a journey into the heart of pranayama, one that honors tradition, cultivates inner strength, & reveals the subtle, expansive freedom that lives within each breath.

This training is open to everyone: yoga teachers, dedicated practitioners, & anyone drawn to the profound intelligence of breath.

Location:

Asheville Community Yoga

Held at Asheville Community Yoga, a nonprofit, donation-based studio dedicated to making yoga accessible to all.

With donation-based classes, complimentary mats & props, financial aid for trainings, the studio offers a welcoming space where individuals can flourish & community can connect. I’m honored to gather in a space so deeply aligned with the spirit of Yoga & accessibility.

Breath as Gateway

Traditional, Holistic, Authentic

In the classical yogic understanding, breath is not merely the movement of air, it is prana, the vital energy that animates the body, influences emotion, steadies the mind, & awakens the deeper layers of awareness. When we learn to work skillfully with this life force, we gain access to clarity, balance, vitality, & inner spaciousness.

This 30-hour training offers an immersion into traditional pranayama as taught within the Adi Nath Shiva Lineage, paired with accessible teaching methods for modern practitioners. You will learn how to practice, understand, & confidently teach yogic breathing techniques with safety, skill, & authenticity.

Why Study Pranayama?

Because the breath is the bridge between body & mind, effort and ease, movement & meditation.

A consistent pranayama practice can help you:

  • Calm & sharpen the mind
  • Regulate the nervous system & support emotional steadiness
  • Increase vitality & lung capacity
  • Balance the Vayus (the subtle currents or winds that move energy through the body) & expand pranic flow
  • Deepen meditation, mantra, & asana practice
  • Access the subtler koshas (layers of being) & inner states of awareness

For yoga teachers, this training expands your toolkit & enhances your ability to guide students safely & effectively.

For all practitioners, it provides a direct experience of breath as a transformative force, along with practical tools & techniques that can be seamlessly incorporated into your daily life to reduce stress, increase focus, & cultivate balance & vitality.

Begin Your Journey Into the Heart of Breath

If the breath has been whispering to you, inviting you inward, inviting you deeper, this is your moment to answer. Step into the subtle world within & experience the transformative power that lives in every inhale & exhale.

All are welcome. You do not need to be experienced or advanced, only open to meeting yourself with presence, sincerity, & curiosity. This training meets you exactly where you are.

Let your next breath lead you.
