A Holistic Approach to Ease & Relaxation

In today’s fast-paced world, the human nervous system often struggles to keep up with the rapid pace of societal and technological changes. It’s important to recognize that while the world around us is evolving quickly, our nervous systems simply cannot evolve at the same rate. This workshop is designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and find balance, especially in moments of stress and overwhelm.

What we'll dive into

Throughout this experiential workshop, we will take a deep dive into several holistic practices to support the nervous system and bring you back into a state of calm. We will explore:

The Pancha Kosha Theory

A traditional model describing the five layers of our being – from the physical body to the innermost essence. Learn practices to work with each layer.

Pranayama (Breathing Techniques)

Simple, yet profound breathing practices that regulate the nervous system and promote relaxation.

Meditation

Mindfulness and concentration practices that quiet the mind, calm the body, & center the self in the present moment.

The Maha Vayus

The five energetic forces that govern movement in the body and mind, helping to restore balance and harmony. Each plays a specific role in holistic well-being.

Yin Yoga

A slow-paced practice that uses long-held poses to target fascia & connective tissues, releasing tension, stress, & repressed emotions.

Sound Healing

The use of sound vibrations to soothe the nervous system and promote healing at a cellular level.

The Nervous System

Learn about the different aspects of the nervous system, the basic functions, & how to gauge when your nervous system is out of balance.

Yoga Nidra

A guided, deep relaxation technique that promotes profound rest and rejuvenation. 1 hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of REM sleep.

Shaking Meditation

A practice where the body is intentionally shaken to release tension, promote relaxation, & increase energy flow.

for this integrative experience & gain the knowledge & practices to restore balance, reconnect with your true self, & move through life with greater ease & resilience.

Through these combined practices, we’ll explore ways to reset the nervous system and return to a place of ease, clarity, and relaxation. My hope is that, by the end of this workshop, you will leave with a toolkit of accessible techniques to use in your everyday life. These tools will empower you to more effectively tune into your current state of being and understand what you truly need, while extending more grace and compassion to yourself during moments of challenge and upset.

Each student will be provided an in-depth handout so you can continue to explore these practices on your own.
