Most of us breathe all day without ever truly noticing how breath moves through us—
where it’s restricted,
where it’s depleted,
where it’s asking for attention.

And when life feels overwhelming, disconnected, or fast-paced, the breath is often the first thing we lose connection to.

This series is an invitation to return.

A Different Kind of Practice

The Inner Winds is a 5-week virtual journey exploring the five vayus, the subtle energetic movements of prana within the body.

In yogic philosophy, the vayus are often called the “inner winds.” They influence everything from grounding & digestion to expression, circulation, intuition, & emotional balance.

Through breathwork, gentle movement, & meditation, each class will focus on one vayu at a time, helping you build a more intimate relationship with your breath and inner landscape.

This series is designed as both a meaningful practice on its own & a gentle introduction to the deeper work of pranayama.

No experience is necessary.

Just curiosity.
And a willingness to listen inward.

Over five Monday evenings, we’ll move through the body’s five energetic currents:

Week 1 — Apana Vayu | Ground
Practices to root, settle, & create safety in the body through grounding breath & meditation

Week 2 — Prana Vayu | Uplift
Heart-centered breathing & meditation practices that support openness, upliftment, & presence

Week 3 — Samana Vayu | Balance
Breath practices to cultivate balance, digestion, centering, & clarity

Week 4 —Vyana Vayu | Expand
Integrative breathwork & meditation to connect the whole system & cultivate spaciousness

Week 5 — Udana Vayu | Connect
Practices focused on voice, energy, connection, & upward movement
